Is There Really Such A Thing As Educational Toys

It’s hard getting educational toys because, well, how would you really measure whether something is educational, especially when it involves really young children even toddlers? In fact, many child psychologists believe that just about anything is “educational” for a child, especially at really young ages when practically by definition anything they come into contact with teaches them something about the world, about which they know almost nothing!

When you do not know much to begin with, everything is educational, isn’t it? And so the world is full of educational toys as a result, as any object may be played with and, in the very playing with, help to develop the motor skills and cognitive abilities which toymakers claim their products foster in a child.

And yet clearly there are toys that do seem to somehow offer much more than entertainment value, for example programmable robot kits. So perhaps a better way to think about educational toys is to not regard them as being completely educational or not, in which case it is arguable that a plaything could be made of practically anything and that play itself is an inherently educational activity.

The misunderstandings, as ever (according to most semanticists, anyway), concerns semantics, or meaning. If we mean by the term not merely something that can be played with such that skillsets of some kind are fostered, but instead those toys which are clearly much more capable of fostering a skillset, particularly one that is not readily developed otherwise, then shopping becomes substantially easier!

Thus, it will turn out that puzzles like a Rubik’s Cube are very educational while alphabet blocks are a lot less so. And as parents, we want to encourage our kids to not only explore but push their intellectual envelope, so while good old-fashioned dolls and the like may stimulate the imagination, much more ingenious toys can also stimulate such higher-order faculties as pattern recognition and problem solving.

The Many Different Kinds Of Swimming Pool Resurfacing

Ah, summer – baseball, backyard barbecues, and swimming pool resurfacing. That’s correct, swimming pool resurfacing. Once an occasional chore every other year, it is now practically a once-every-other-decade spring or even summer pastime (for those who like to wait until the very last minute) – all thanks to the new do-it-yourself fiberglass pool resurfacing in a can made possible by modern chemistry.

Swimming pool resurfacing done right means fiberglass in this day and age. Swimming pool resurfacing is an essential aspect of pool ownership, just the sort of renovation that is made periodically to counter the effects of corrosion. Regardless of whether constructed of gunite, concrete, plaster, or wood (especially wood), swimming pools will deteriorate over time to the point that a complete resurfacing is not only advisable but necessary.

Thankfully, as previously mentioned, modern technology has made it possible for the best kind of resurfacing, fiberglass resurfacing, to be performed entirely by oneself safely and fairly quickly. Best of all, it’s as permanent as any job handled by licensed contractors but much less expensive.

Fiberglass pool surfaces have a proven track record of more than three decades now as a durable coating that happens to also provide other benefits, such as decrease operating coasts. Fiberglass is a material that bonds really well with existing surfaces, giving pools a nice sheen that makes them appear to be brand new.

This wondrous product is now available in simple cans like paint, readily applicable and requiring no sand-blasting. Permitted for both commercial and residential use, do-it-yourself fiberglass resurfacing will require much less maintenance than even marcite or vinyl pools. Furthermore, with the right care you won’t have to worry about your swimming pool’s surface for another twenty to thirty years or more!

Much less prone to staining. Beautiful shiny protective shell. All easily applied and ready for duty within one day. That’s swimming pool resurfacing in the 21st Century. Now that’s progress!

Is Marriage Counseling Right For You

Marriage counseling has arguably become a rite of passage for modern American couples. Social conservatives lament such facts are proof that the social fabric has frayed considerably while others view such developments as a positive sign that everyone is owning up to reality at last.

Whatever the case, marriage counseling has definitely been a growth industry, though whether these kinds of trends will hold in such recessionary times remains to be seen. What is expected, however, is that the need for such services will only increase – especially in recessionary times. For what most drives couples apart isn’t sex or the children but money.

Marriage counseling often reveals that the main issue eating away at a relationship is one of control, or who has how much say over what. This is why it is essential to select spouses with very similar values! But whatever the situation, the first thing to establish is clear and open lines of communication. Understanding is fundamental, and without good communications it is very unlikely for anything to be accomplished.

Interestingly, the decision to go into therapy or counseling often seems shameful but is really a good sign, a sign that the couple in question is still willing to try to work things out somehow. The very agreement, however reluctant, to enter into a possible make-up rather than heading straight into breakup shows that honest communication is desired, at least minimally.

Depending on the situation, things might be so bad that the counselor or therapist has to meet each party separately, but the fact that any attempt is being made at all at a reconciliation is hopeful. However, while reconciliation might be desired, it does not follow that breaking up, despite counseling, means failure. In cases of intractable differences, going separate ways might actually represent the best possible option for all concerned.

Dallas Cowboys Flag, Clock, Towel And Much More For Your Enjoyment And Collection

As famous as the team is, it’s an open question whether Dallas Cowboys merchandise would’ve been as popular as they are without the equally legendary Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. These ladies are not just any ol’ football cheerleading squad members, but make up a veritable franchise in themselves.

No less than two made-for-TV movies have appeared about them, not to mention any number of Dallas Cowboys merchandise bearing their likeness somewhere on the product! For when you think of Texas football, you think the Cowboys – and when you think Cowboys, you think of their cheerleaders.

For sure the die-hard fan might prefer his Dallas Cowboys clock “straight-up” but several others who usually are not so hard-core would most likely welcome a shot of the cheerleaders illustrating their fan merchandise! No other collection of young ladies so epitomize the American woman: young, fun, and fit; spirited; glamorous; intelligent.

Yes, regardless of the voyeurism involved these beauties know how to comport themselves and market themselves. Team try-outs obviously focus on athleticism and physical beauty but as spokesmodels for the team a good amount of social savvy and hence intelligence is necessary, too.

The only other set of ladies that have left such a deep impression on popular culture worldwide would have to be Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Bunnies. Interestingly, the Cowboys’ cheerleading squad actually started out mixed, with both males and females, as was high school and collegiate football tradition.

And indeed, it was local high school students that in fact made up the squad back in the 1960s. In 1969, however a deliberate attempt was made to boost in-game attendance by offering only female cheerleaders whose routines were unlike those prevalent at school games. By 1972, all cheerleaders were over the age of eighteen as their moves became increasingly much more like sexy dance routines.

The Evermore Utilized Storage Media

Blank storage media, it its most limited, primary sense, is any medium by which data or information could be stored for subsequent admittance. This may range between the printed page, to computers, to the human brain. For thousands of years, blank media was – while varied – limited to techniques that involved physically marking an object (the storage medium itself) with information that could later be read by the human eye and prepared from the brain.

These involved everything from scriptures hand written with paper and ink, to hieroglyphics carved into stone. Nevertheless, during the last several decades, improvements in technology have opened up a whole new avenue that has revolutionized the way humans record and keep information: electronic storage media.

Many people are acquainted with electronic storage media in the varieties of optical discs, including CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray cds, these all can store music, video, or practically any type of data in any format that can be accessed by using a computer. Optical storage media works by recording data onto the top of a disc, which stores information by encoding it in a binary format in the form of “lands” as well as “pits” – comparable to the crests and troughs of an ocean wave, respectively.

These practically microscopic grooves represent data as binary code where lands equal a 1 and pits a 0, which is then read by reflecting a laserlight off the surface of the disc. The reflection of the laser is distorted by the arrangement of lands as well as pits – 1s and 0s – and these distortions are then read and construed as unique information. While the discs themselves may be a relatively fragile storage media, the amount of data they can store is immense. A regular CD can hold about 700mb of data, which if entirely dedicated to text data can store very similar to thousands upon thousands of written pages.

Whereas written storage media made up of this quantity of text data may weigh several pounds and be so physically cumbersome as to make shipping the data somewhat difficult, a CD weighing only a few grams may contain plenty of books worth of text. What’s more is that while on paper, more data calls for more storage space, consequently increasing the physical weight and size of the medium, optical data weighs virtually nothing so that a CD crammed with data weighs a maximum of a CD with nothing on it.

And whilst creating duplicate copies of this much written data would probably take dozens and dozens of man hours to manually replicate using a pen and paper, a duplicate CD can be copied and recorded within a matter of minutes. But that, while paper storage media may be heavy and cumbersome, it requires nothing more to interpret than the human eye. Optical storage media, alternatively, requires other equipment to interpret the info for the user, which alone can be physically cumbersome as well as vulnerable to damage.

New York Nabes Make the City Go Round

It is important to do your research when it comes to investing in New York properties. New York City is a very diverse place, and even adjacent neighborhoods can be drastically different, never mind those in different boroughs. According to industry experts such as Isaac Toussie, nothing is as it seems, and if you are looking for residential property that you plan on living in yourself, you might even want to arrange to spend a few nights on the premises to really know directly what it’s like. For example, many peaceful-looking places are actually not peaceful at all but deadly, ridden with crime and pollution and a host of other social ills. Even when it comes to commercial real estate, things may not be as they seem. Developers like Isaac Toussie are common in this town, and to stand out from the crowd you need to be known for something more than simply a hole in the ground of an empty lot.

New York realty markets are distinctive in many categories, including population density. As an investor you want to thoroughly research them all before proceeding to a decision of any financial consequence. It is often useful to think of different neighborhoods as cities or towns in themselves, which was indeed actually the historical case. Such an artificial view of the city would not suffice long-term, but it can be usefully dabbled in from time to time for specific purposes. For example, it is not uncommon to find the direst poverty fairly close to some of the most opulent luxury. As an investor in New York property you want to be aware of this possibility so as to not miss any good opportunities simply on account of ignorance.

When looking for property in New York City, you must consider the people, especially when it comes to homes for yourself or potential tenants. Ultimately, the people are what will determine the quality of life. Will it be a noisy place? Full of trash? Or does the local community take some pride in itself, without any kids running around making mischief?

Even when it comes to the commercial side of things such considerations are important. If you have space for rent but the neighbors are lower class people, you probably won’t get any upscale businesses looking to sign a lease with you, even with all the governmental encouragement there is, such as tax breaks and the like.

It’s a delicate balance, which is part of the reason why rents are so high in the city. But what to do as an investor?

Watch. And learn. You can never learn enough about such an exciting, dynamic city, and you never can tell just when such knowledge may be put to good use. Why not bicycle around to get a good feel for a place? New York City has ambitions to become one of the most bicycle-friendly municipalities in the country, and this is one of the best ways to transport yourself through different places in order to get a direct feel for them.

The Many Uses For A Portable Ice Maker

Ah, a portable ice maker. At last, a sure-fire way of keeping cool when out of doors under a hot summer sun. You have a picnic, or a camping trip, or even just a small get-together in the backyard and do not wish to keep running back inside for ice – you want a portable ice maker.

It will not only save you trips and bother, but save you from such things as running out of ice all of a sudden. Having one of these niffty little marvels of modern engineering will prevent you from looking like a bad thoughtless host. And nothing beats a portable ice maker at the beach! Like, booyeah.

It’s just what you need when enjoying the scenery. It could even be a excellent conversation starter. Forget about helping to apply suntan lotion – give her the gift of perfectly shaped ice cubes and see what happens next! No, really, it works (with some individuals, but not all). In any case, the water’s salty – but fresh ice cubes? Come one, you’ll be the king of the beach.

Make sure you get one with helpful features for example a low water light to remind you of refills. Some designs will even recycle melted water right back into ice cubes. Make sure to get the capacity you need, too. Portable ice makers are fairly straightforward machines so you should have no trouble finding one that’s just right.

Take one to your next tailgating party. Need one for your RV? Portable ice makers are almost required on boats. These devices are helpful in a number of situations. When in the market for one, you may find that the most essential aspect of your purchase is simply the choice of color! That’s how easy it is to buy one, because that’s how straightforward they have become these days.

Realty Trendlines in Connecticut

Though the existing economic catastrophe has also troubled Connecticut realty, industry experts like Isaac Toussie believe that there’s no danger of oversupply in Connecticut in large part due to the state’s inventory levels being rather constant, likely because of Connecticut’s housing escaping the kind of speculation other places have seen. Such a happy state of affairs is probably also on account of the fact that Connecticut hosts some with the most expensive land anywhere in the country after California, with over three percent of them priced around a million dollars as of the turn of the century. Southwestern Connecticut lies within the greater New York City metropolitan region, but areas further away, such as those communities in the northeast, are better described as luxury retreats for the monied classes, given median home values in the multiple of millions.

There can be a lot of “upside” to Connecticut realty. Condominium inventory in Connecticut are actually at steady ranges despite the financial downturn of late, which is really an extremely positive sign that bodes well for the overall real estate market there. Connecticut land ought to be fine pretty soon. Investing in commercial properties there is frequently a good bet even in this economy. Slow but steady growth has marked the history of Connecticut property for some time. In truth, regardless of the current financial meltdown these days, the State of Connecticut has not witnessed a lot of overly dramatic shifts.

The Danbury Fair, the state’s largest shopping mall, is a case in point. Founded in 1947, it has three levels, forty-seven shops, and nearly four hundred thousand square feet of retail space. Industry experts like Isaac Toussie are convinced that once the New York City Metropolitan Area recovers, retail outlets like this one in Connecticut will follow right along. Indeed, three of the state’s eight counties, which also happen to house most of the population, make up the Tri-State Region of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Despite such proximity to a world-class metropolis like New York City, it should be noted that Connecticut was never that hot a real estate market, so it shouldn’t be surprising that Connecticut has endured the housing scandal and its subsequent crisis much better than many other states. Indeed, once-industrial and then dilapidated Waterbury now attracts newcomers, most notably Orthodox Jewry, a welcome development that has brought new life to the local economy.

Certainly, Connecticut has in fact done well compared to states like Florida, Nevada, and even California, for sales are already reported to be running at about 70% of 2008 levels, and though median prices have moderated they are at least not nose-diving! Yes, mortgages are harder to come by, but a lot of this is on account of the long-overdue correction of slipshod lending practices in the first place and is actually, in the long term, a positive development for Connecticut’s economy.

The Various Types Of Prescription Eyeglasses

Prescription eyeglasses are available in many different styles for many different uses. But despite the word “glasses” in the name, most of the lenses utilized in today’s prescription eyeglasses are really made of plastic. And thanks to modern technology, due mainly to advances in lens construction, they are much more affordable than ever before. In fact, redistribution programs exist for prescription eyeglasses that allow for the donation of gently used pairs to the poor and needy, a significant factor in reducing a worldwide public health issue.

Traditionally the most expensive part of a pair of prescription eyeglasses, modern lenses are constructed of plastic and are manufactured overseas. But despite the negative connotations surrounding the word “plastic,” lenses made of the material are lighter weight and much more durable than the glass ones prior to use of plastic lenses.

And believe it or not, plastic lenses are optically a lot more advantageous than glass, allowing light to pass through a lot better even as they absorb harmful ultraviolet rays in a much greater amount. They’re thinner, too, vastly increasing wearer comfort while much more shatter-resistant. And now even flexible frames are available for casual use at ordinary prices! Moreover, thanks to the web, low-cost eyeglasses can be readily purchased.

However, it’s a great idea for an eye exam whenever you wish to get a new pair (unless, of course, you’ve already had your eyes examined quite recently – once a year is considered just fine, with no more than twice a year deemed necessary), and one convenient way to do both is to go to an old-fashioned brick-and-mortar eyeglass store.

Prescription eyeglasses are here to stay despite advances in laser eye correction surgery. While both methodology and technology continues to improve, they may soon reach their limit with guaranteed 20/20 vision for all still unachieved, necessitating the regular purchase of low-cost prescription eyeglasses.

The Many Different Alternative Financing Situations

When the majority of people consider the idea of asking for money, whether applying for a grant or a loan or what have you, they typically first consider applying for such a service from their bank. Nevertheless, sometimes due to adverse circumstances or a general distrust of banks or official lending institutions, people seek alternative financing from other sources, some of them a little less than legal, whether a normal loan or small business loan.

Quite a few people in dire need of quick cash, often times because of financial irresponsibility, are simply not able to go to banks who will outright decline a loan due to their client being too high of a risk. Earlier in history, most banks preferred not to grant small loans because those seeking them were considered to be irresponsible for putting themselves in whatever situation first necessitated a small loan. Needing alternative financing to help cover other debts or expenses based on their specific circumstances, they will often seek help from a figure who has been around for as long, or perhaps longer than there have been banks: The loan shark.

Loan sharks are an unofficial source of alternative financing who will give money at very high interest rates, normally coercing repayment out of their borrowers by means of violence, threats of violence, or blackmail. In the United States, loan sharks first became a popular fixture in major cities during the 19th century, when illegal money lending was a mere misdemeanor and they were able to operate openly out of offices.

Those looking for alternative financing would go about signing a contract which, though appearing very official, had no legal binding in any way and instead served only as a means for the lender to potentially blackmail their client, if repayment wasn’t promptly made. Often by praying on a debtors ignorance of the legality of such alternative financing, or the lack thereof, loan sharks would threaten legal action to coerce repayment, in lieu of more direct violence.

As time continued, the legal repercussions of illegal lending became harsher, driving loan sharks toward the more underground criminal element where they would do business with more unsavory types whose debts were more sinister, whether it be gambling, criminal enterprise or other disreputable practices. This created the image of illegal lender in league with the likes of Cosa Nostra that the typical person conjures when they imagine a loan shark.

Today, alternative financing continues to be a large industry and is typically entirely legal, operating in accordance with legal lending procedure and with no threat of violence or blackmail and even negative stigma towards borrowers. They are simply independently owned and operated companies that lend cash with terms and conditions that are more specialized and sympathetic than those similar services offered by national banks.

Cheap Eyeglasses For Everyone

Cheap eyeglasses are the fruit of modern day technology (specifically modern materials science) and globalization. Of the two, globalization probably plays the more important role, as economic conditions overseas allow hi-tech items to be manufactured at rather decidedly low-tech wages. This results in a boon to the American consumer who, frankly speaking, is finding that a dollar tends not to go as far these days. Today’s glasses make good, even perfect, eyesight much more affordable than ever for the general buying public.

But despite their name, there is almost never any glass, and many models are far from being cheap in quality. Modern day lenses are made of plastic, yet the material provides many superior performance characteristics despite the negative connotations of the word. That is one reason why modern day “>eyeglasses are so inexpensive, but affordability means really little, if anything at all, when thinking about one’s health and welfare. Thankfully, modern day plastics offer clear-cut advantages way beyond anything old-fashioned glass ever did.

Lenses used to be the most expensive part of a pair of eyeglasses, but these days they cost much less than the frame itself! Yet they’re exceptionally durable, with any number of scratch and shatter-proof styles offered in the marketplace. They’re also thinner and lighter, resulting in vastly increased wearer comfort, without compromising at all on performance. They allow a lot more light to pass through even while greatly inhibiting harmful ultraviolet rays.

But lenses aren’t the only beneficiaries of modern day science and modern business practices. The frames, too, have undergone a technological makeover, with flexible designs that are much much more durable. And because of the internet, one may easily find the right eyeglasses online, though one-stop shopping convenience might still mean visiting an old-fashioned brick-and-mortar store because an eye exam is recommended before fitting a new pair (unless, of course, the prescription is a fairly recent one).

Why Online CPE Courses Are Becoming So Popular

Online CPE courses are a fantastic way for specialists to brush up on the latest developments in their fields from the comfort of their own homes. A lot better than old-fashioned correspondence classes, today’s offerings are interactive and actually fun, making learning simple for busy professionals with sixty hour workweeks!

It’s small wonder then why “online CPE” is one of the most popular of keyword phrases entered into search engines nowadays. While ongoing professional accreditation has existed for decades, it’s only with the explosion of the worldwide web that tele learning, as this form of instruction is know, has truly taken off.

And in this economy, online CPE courses are crucial in helping licensed professionals maintain their professional skillsets. New doctors, lawyers, and accountants are churned out each year by the hundreds, and though seniority and experience does count for a lot, much of the routine work – which comprise the overwhelming vast majority of any firm’s business – may be quite competently handled by new hires. That’s why continuing education is so essential: it helps one distinguish oneself from the recently graduated class entering one’s profession every year.

In that respect, however, one crucial point bears repeating: It is everyone’s own responsibility to ensure that any continuing education course taken actually counts with the most important professional bodies in one’s field. While more knowledge almost never hurts, a CPE isn’t a matter of exploring your own interests on your own time!

You’re paying money here, so make sure that any credits earned would be accepted by whatever governing board that oversees your profession. And speaking of paying money, here’s another great tip: See if you can find pilot courses that may possibly be taken for free of charge. That’s right, free of charge! Check specific policies for details, but generally you only need to complete the course and provide some feedback.

Imitation Crabs Are Delicious And Nutritious

Since sushi has become so wildly popular in the United States, many people have become quite comfortable with what is perhaps the dishes most famous form in this country: the California roll, generally comprised of rice, nori or cucumber, imitation crab meat, and avocado or mango. Though the exact structure of sushi has many complicated elements to western audiences, “imitation crab” is maybe the chief among them. Imitation crab meat, more colloquially called “crab sticks” or “krab”, is basically pulverized and ground white fish meat – called “surimi” – that has been remedied and shaped to purposely resemble the legs of the snow crab or king crab.

The use of imitation crab over genuine crab meat is simply due to the expense of the real thing. Crab fishing is an incredibly difficult and dangerous venture. Actually, fisherman is statistically the most risky occupation in the world, by a wide margin resulting in some 112 deaths in every hundred thousand – greater than police officers, firefighters and military personnel combined. Simply because acquiring genuine crab is such a unsafe and costly endeavor, using it in wildly popular and fiscally unpretentious dishes like sushi is simply unfeasible, necessitating the common use of imitation crab.

Imitation crab meat is most commonly manufactured from Alaskan pollock. It is finely ground and mixed with egg whites or another binding agent so it can be shaped into the eponymous sticks. Afterwards, crab flavoring – either unnatural or genuinely taken from actual crab – and red food coloring is included to give the final product a more legitimate look and taste. Nonetheless, given that the base ingredient is fish, and no actual crab is important to their production, imitation crab meat can be made to be 100% kosher. The curing process involved also adequately cooks the fish, so imitation crab can be securely eaten right out of the package.

California rolls were primarily introduced sometime during the 1960’s, in California as their name might suggest. After the end of the Second World War, many Japanese came to the United States in search of a more productive life like most immigrants before them, and also to escape the strenuous environment of their home country as it fought to rebuild after being almost entirely ruined by four years of constant bombing (including two atomic blasts) during the war.

Whereas most European immigrants several decades earlier generally entered the country though New York, Japanese immigrants landed in Los Angeles, and they brought with them Sushi, sowing the seeds of its reputation in the US. Being freshly arrived immigrants in the United States, many of them unable to even speak English, it goes without saying that they were not awfully well-to-do in terms of money. As they further developed their cuisine in their new country, again, financial limitations necessitated the use of imitation crab in what rapidly became their signature dish.

The Many Uses For Wind Chimes

A wind chime seems to be a necessary adornment of many a cabins in the woods. In the city one imagines that these objects are hung by the door and basically used to announce visitors or customers, but in the countryside, where the nearest neighbor can be a mile away and you could hear him coming from about the same distance, why the prevalence of such merry noise-makers?

If you’re ever lucky enough to experience it, you might even stumble upon some hermit’s cozy hut of a cabin with a large collection of wind chimes displayed along his porch or main window. And then it’s no wonder whether the decorations keep him – or her – company rather than simply announcing it.

Wind chimes focus the voice of the wind. These objects are instruments by which the wind finds its voice. They speak for the wind. They are the wind speaking to us in a language we understand, the language of music, of sounds and also the silent pauses between them.

This other-worldly association with wind chimes goes back to their very origins as devices to ward off evil spirits, as if human inventions stand in opposition to the natural and supernatural. In Asia they’re associated with good luck, and Japanese glass wind bells and chimes have a long and highly developed tradition.

In our own modern age, clever individuals have now taken to harnessing the power of the sun instead of the wind to produce the soft melodious tones so beloved of mankind. Windless wind chimes – yes, that’s their name – offer continual protection against evil spirits even when winds are calm!

Country cottages and their wind chimes. Who would have ever thought that such seemingly simple objects of wood, metal, glass, or stone could have such a legacy?

Things To Keep In Mind When Choosing Wedding Favors

For the hosts, the right wedding favors can be as hard to find as wedding gifts may be to their guests. For while gifts have to reflect the social importance of the occasion while still accounting for the individual tastes of the recipients (both of them!), wedding favors need to satisfy one and all by being appropriate on many more levels. It can be hard enough to shop for one individual, or even a couple – but how about for an entire guest list that may span some twenty to two hundred different tastes?

Of course, not very many people put so much thought (and consternation!) into deciding upon the wedding favors they will give out, for those who do it is an crucial choice right up there alongside the type of food to serve as well as the kind of venue to use. A great idea, however, is both safely innocuous while being practical as well as elegant and reflective of the occasion: Wine glasses!

Of course, it may be cheesy to give precisely the very gifts you yourself would be receiving, but then again it might not, depending on the quality of the set you give and, let’s be honest, how “important” your wedding is socially – after all, such favors from a high-society wedding will most likely be much more treasured than something from Aunt May’s sixth time up the aisle!

All kidding aside, however, the choice of favors is an important one as it is something by which you want your guests – your friends, family, and even colleagues – to remember you and your significant other at one of the high-points of your lives. It is like going to an exotic locale for vacation and bringing back a souvenir to your loved ones…a tee shirt. No, you’ll probably want your wedding to be rather more noteworthy than that!
